SHOTS & PHYSICALS – All children will need a current shot and physical form prior to Monday, August 15th. This is the time a year that all of our files get updated.
GRADUATION DVD – All DVD’s have arrived! Please see Miss Kiera, Miss Darlene, Mr. P., or myself to sign for your copy.
SUMMER CAMP – For children who will not be attending TLC for this coming school year, their last day with us will be on Friday, August 5th. (With the exemption of our currently enrolled August students) We will miss all of you very much. May God continue to bless you and keep your families safe. Thank you!
NO OPEN TOE SANDALS, FLIP FLOPS, OR RUBBER BOOTS – For safety reasons. Thank you! PARENT NIGHT OUT – On Friday, July 8th, from 6-9 p.m., Miss. Melaney will be offering another parent night out. Dinner, snacks, and games are provided. $20 per/child. If interested, please see Miss. Melaney for sign-up sheet.
SWIMMING – Please remember that every child is capable of learning how to swim. We hear it through our local media how another child lost their life because they didn’t know how to swim. PLEASE contact your local YMCA, www.aquajourneyswimschool.com or another certified survival swimming program. Swimming saves lives.
WATER DAY ACTIVITIES – On Friday, July 1st and on Friday, July 29th, we will have our water slides here for the children. Please make sure that your child is dressed in swim suit, water shoes, towel, sunscreen, and a dry change of clothes. These water activities are for ages 3 and up only.
ILLNESS – Please remember that our school has a 48 hours symptom free policy for the safety and health of all children. Otherwise, a doctor’s note is required for our records. Thank you!
SCHOOL SUPPLY LIST – A copy of your child’s August school supply list has been placed in your child’s cubby or hanging folder. Should you need another copy, please see your child’s teacher.
LITTLE CHAMPS SOCCER – Coach Bryan will be offering a 6 weeks summer soccer session starting Friday, July 1st – ending Friday, August 5th. Cost $50 per/child. Please remember to have your child wear their sport t-shirts every Friday. Please see Miss Kiera for t-shirt.
CHEERTASTIC CAMP – Coach Andraia will be offering summer camp during the week of July 25, 26th, & 27th, from 9-11 AM in the church. Cost is $45 per child. Sign up located in front lobby ages 2 & up. HURRICANE SEASON – With hurricane season here, I just wanted to remind all parents of our school policy. I will be monitoring the news regularly. If for any reason that Volusia County School closes, then so will TLC Kids Care, in most instances. The school closes for varies reasons. Such as; loss of power, damage of the property making it difficult for access and shelter reasons if needed. I will continue to keep my cell phone updated (386-547-6118) along with our school website page (tlckidscareonline.com) with current information from the national weather report. I will do my very best “weather permitting” to keep the church sign out front updated as to when our school will resume regular business hours. I will never jeopardize the safety of our children, and/or my staff during these storms. Should anyone have any concerns, please feel free to get with me.
